On a cross street from La Rambla, among restaurants, cafes and shops, Björn and Carina Arkhult own a small apartment. From the balcony you can see the narrow streets and alleys between the church and beautiful buildings. A staircase leads up to two of Palma’s most popular bars, Babel and Café L’Antiquari.
The first thing you see when you enter the home of Ulf and Helena Strömqvist, is the sea. The Mediterranean lights up the apartment with its turquoise, glittering water and the large glass framed terrace gives you a full view of the port of Cala Nova, Bendinat hills and Illetas coast line.

From the big terrace at Anki and Lasse Johansson’s apartment in Bendinat the view gives you spectacular mountains as well as views over the beautiful coast line. The turquoise water of Cala Major can be spotted just down the hill.
-It’s so beautiful at dawn when the city starts to light up, says Lasse. And look, isn’t it lovely when the jakaranda trees are in bloom? He points in the direction of the trees down the street, covered in purple flowers. This apartment in Bendinat has been the Mallorca home of Anki and Lasse since 2011.
Behind the street door to the townhouse there is a small, lush garden. Geraniums in pink, red and white tiny pansies and deep green ivy encircling the small lot.
-I love flowers and to potter in the garden, Barbara Wiik says.
Close to one of Palma’s most popular shopping streets, there is a small residential building with only four apartments. The penthouse, a duplex apartment, is the home of Andreas Lindén, a Swedish professional triathlete.
A beautiful white building, located first line from the sea in Palmanova, is the home of Tina and Janne Lovesan and their three children; Neo, Nova and Namo.
