Carin Isgård founded Buy a Home Mallorca in 2008. She is a trained and licensed real estate agent in Sweden and began her career in the real estate industry as early as 2002. Carin worked in her hometown of Stockholm at one of the leading real estate agencies for five years before moving abroad.

In addition to more than two decades of experience in real estate, she also has a strong business background in B2B, holding leadership roles in marketing, sales, and business development. She has a solid academic background, combining her real estate qualifications with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as well as a diploma in marketing management.

In early 2007, she moved to Mallorca and quickly recognised the island’s potential within the real estate market. With her experience and professional expertise, she founded the company just one year later. Today, she continues to serve as CEO while remaining actively involved as a real estate agent, with close engagement in the company’s daily operations and client relationships.

Outside of her professional life, Carin has a strong passion for sports and an active, healthy lifestyle. She loves travelling and has explored many destinations around the world. Despite her international perspective, Mallorca is the place she truly calls home, a place that offers the balance of lifestyle, climate, and surroundings that first attracted her to the island and continues to shape both her personal and professional vision.

This connection is also reflected in her decision to establish both her life and her company in the Portixol-Molinar area, where the company’s second office opened as early as 2014. The proximity to the Mediterranean Sea and the relaxed coastal lifestyle are an integral part of her everyday life, from long walks along the seafront promenade to the simple luxury of having the beach just a few steps away.

Her strong connection to life by the sea also guided the company’s strategic expansion and led to the opening of another office in 2022 in San Agustín, once again in a prime seafront location. It is this combination of lifestyle, location, and quality that lies at the heart of the company and inspires both clients and future partners to create their own path on the island.
