Santa María

Santa María del Camí, or just Santa María for short, is a popular and bustling town in the central part of Mallorca. It is close to Palma, easily connected by train and car, and close to great international schools as well.

It is known for one of the best markets on the island, the Sunday market, as well as many local artists and winemakers. Santa María has a long tradition of wine production and around the area you will find many vineyards and wine producers.

Along the main street there are several restaurants and nice cafés on both sides. A perfect spot to hang out and watch the world go by. Here you will also find some impressive furniture- and home decoration shops and a couple of beautiful hotels.

Its central location, close to the Traumuntana mountain range, also makes it a popular stop among the many cyclists that come to the island to train. Mallorca has become a well known and attractive destination for active cyclists.
