"In Sóller we find inspiration for our novels"

On a small street, next to a rippling brook at the foot of the Tramuntana mountain, Johan and Erica Månsson welcome us into to their newly purchased apartment in Sóller, on Mallorcas West Coast.
– It is the first time we’re in here since we bought it. We’re just getting settled, Erica says.

"We love the vibrant atmosphere in Santa Catalina"

In one of Palma’s busiest restaurant streets in Santa Catalina there is a small, charming townhouse. Here, just a few steps from the buzz of chattering people and sound of coffee cups and wine glasses, is the home of Tove and Emil.
The apartment is bright and welcoming. The combination of old Spanish charm and Scandinavian, stylish decor gives it something extra. But it was far from love at first sight for Tove and Emil.
– When we came here the first time, it looked terrible, Tove says with a laugh.

"Life in Mallorca is something different"

From the small park across the street comes a soothing sound from a fountain and a large ficus tree throws a soft shade over the apartment terrace. Between the buildings in front of the house you get a glimpse of the sea and the boats down along the Paseo Maritimo.
On this quiet street in El Terreno Kaveh Kiani lives, just a few steps from the port and biking distance from Palma. Mallorca has been his home since 2011.

A winter wonderland in Son Vida

Helen Cummins in her home in Son Vida

In one of the steep hills of Son Vida you find a beautiful, white house with a big garden overlooking the entire Palma bay. This is the home of Helen Cummins, founder and owner of abcMallorca. In this luxury villa she lives with her family.
Son Vida is one of the most exclusive areas on the island and the street in front of their house is called ”the golden mile”, Helen says.
– We really love Son Vida because you are more or less in the countryside, but still just 10 minutes away from Palma. It is peaceful, quiet and safe around here.
